Storm was wandering around hugging close to the wall trying to blend into the shadows his amber eyes where focused on the crowd as they walked by once the crowd had cleared a bit he walked forward to a street vendor he sat beside him and tilted his head and gave an innocent expression he looked up at the vendor. The vendor smiled and put a hot dog on the ground storm leapt on in and engulfed it happily then padded off and sat in an alley knawing at his paws.

Slinking quickly from shadow to shadow, Fritzie looked wide eyed up at the strange two legs walking quickly up and down the block. Humans. They were so weird. So foreign to her. When you spend most of your life traveling through the wilderness, although she had seen humans from a distance, she never really got as close as she was right now. The sounds, the sights, they were so strange. Everything was happening at the same time at a much faster pace than she was used to.
Caught at the edge of a building, where she either needed to cross the street, or go down the other side of the block, she looked around and noticed the dog down a bit, just as he seemed to be finishing off a very satisfying meal. Her stomach growled as Fritzie watched the dog wolf down the food then trot into an alley. Maybe he could help her find some food. Or a way out of the busy section of the city.
Turning the corner, she clung to the wall of the building, her body literally pressed up against the wall, and she slowly made her way down towards the alley. Upon arriving at the entrance, she walked into the opening, not wanting to startle the dog and have him freak out at her. She whinned slightly to announce herself, and entered the alley. "Hello," she said softly. "Is it hard to get food from the humans around here?" she asked, a little intimidated by the dog who seemed to know so much more about the way around humans than she.

Fritzie stood cautiously at the entrance of the alley. He seemed like a nice dog, but looks could be deceiving, and if he got violent, she wanted to make a quick get away. Lucky for her, he seemed nice, and she gave him a small grin when he spoke to her, returning his own smile. Her tail waved back and forth slowly, glad to have the company.
"My name is Fritzie." she answered his question. When he offered to teach her how to get food from the humans, her ears perked up a bit, and her tail wagged a little faster. "Yes, that would be most lovely if you had the time. I wouldn't want to intrude or anything. " Fritzie took a few steps forward, more into the alley, and a bit closer to him. "Maybe you could show me the technique before we go out there and try it out on an actual human. I wouldn't want to get it wrong and then get yelled at or chased," she sat down and waited.

He couldnt help but smile she seemed nice so he relaxed a bit and wagged his tail. "Sure its nice to meet u Fritzie and its no trouble just all you have to do is pick a person who seems nice. Like a small child or a old man go and sit next to them and look sad they will give you something to eat". He stood and shook out his dusty coat with a quick smile he looked at her "follow me" as he walked past her and onto the side-walk he hugged the wall and waited for her to catch up.

Fritzie listened intensely as Storm explained the details of how to get food from a human. A small child or an older person. Fritzie thought she could handle that. As Storm stood and got ready, Fritzie also got ready, and shook out her coat as well.
As Storm left the alley and stuck to the wall, walking down the sidewalk, Fritzie trotted after and stuck close to the other dog. As he instructed, she kept an eye out to see if she could spot any of the type of humans that Storm described. As they slunk along the wall, she noticed quite a few humans hurrying past, but it seemed most of them didn't even notice the pair of dogs trotting down the sidewalk. But most of the children she saw were in some weird contraption that was being pushed along by bigger humans. She wondered if they were ever going to find someone to feed them.

Every now and then he would glance back to make sure she was still there he tried not to laugh as she stared at everything in amazement it was refreshing. He looked around picking his targets when he saw an elderly couple sitting on a park bench holding hands after mentally gagging he stood on the sidewalk watching the cars fly by he motioned for fritzie to join him the last thing he needed was for his company to get crushed by a car. He looked back and smiled at her "over there see the old people" he gestured with his head towards them.

Fritzie had been following a little behind the pup, and when he moved away from the wall, she paused. The wall offered security, safeness, and protection. Most of the people didn't look down at the wall, but where Storm had chosen, it was right on the edge of the sidewalk, close to the street.
Whining, she paced back and forth along the wall, before finally biting the bit and she raced out and over to Storm, sliding to a stop next to him. He motioned to the couple sitting on the bench across the street, and Fritzie took in the scene. They were across the street, on a bench in the park. Maybe after food, they could run around in the park! That would be exciting! She turned to look at Storm. "Okay! Lets do this. I haven't dealt with these big metal things, so whats the best way to get across the road?" she asked. As they stood there, the cars went past, causing their fur to ruffle and flutter in the breezes their speed created.

He smiled it was obvious that Fritzie had never been near a car "OK we just need to blend in with those people" he gestured to the group of people getting ready to cross the road at the big blinking light smiling at Fritzie he padded over but stood a safe distance from them " they wont even notice and if they do we run OK?" he stood waiting as the people danced on the spot waiting for the lights ' and yet we aren't allowed to move when they say so' He thought angrily narrowing his eyes

Nodding, Fritzie watched the cars zoom by, and she practically was prancing in place, just like the humans. She stared up at them, marveling at how close they were, and they still didn't notice either Storm or herself. How incompetent they were at noticing things. They truly only had tunnel vision, these humans.
Fritzie continued to glance this way and that way. She wasn't used to such busy streets, therefore, everything was new to her. She stood close to Storm as to not lose him if they were allowed to cross and she didn't notice. Fritzie's eyes roamed over to the couple they were headed towards, and she saw they were holding hands. It reminded her of Vice, and made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Everything all lovey dovey made her think about Vice these days, but she didn't really know the whys about it.

Fritzie almost missed the chance for the two of them to walk, but finally she looked and noticed Storm had taken off across the way, and she ran across the road quickly, reaching his side. She wagged her tail at the human pups, and glanced up and down the sidewalk. People on this side seemed to be in a better mood than the people on the other side of the street. Maybe she would get lucky and get a great treat from someone. "What about the children? They seem to have lots of food," she asked.
It was true. Most of the kids being tugged along by their parents had some kind of sweets in their hands. But while Fritzie watched them hungrily, she realized that, while the human pups were probably more than willing to share with them, the adults were looking at the pair of them with caution in their eyes. Which was understandable. Fritzie knew she would be wary of any strange dog near her pups. So why not the human adults. "Never mind. I think I get the reason why," she spoke before he could

Watching longingly as the kids and their parents walked off, it took Fritzie a moment to realize that Shadow had already gotten some food from the older couple, and it was now her turn. She gulped, and stepped forward, keeping her ears neutral and her tail wagging back and forth softly between her legs.
Stepping up in front of the pair, she lifted her eyes, tilted her head softly to the side and whined ever so slightly, unknowingly giving them the puppy dog eyes.
"Aren't you just the cutest!" the older woman exclaimed, and pulling another sandwich out of her bag, she handed it down to Fritzie, who took it gracefully. "Thats all I have sweethearts, I'm sorry," she smiled down. Fritzie placed a paw softly on the womans knee in a thank you, and turned back towards Shadow, sandwich still in her mouth. Now that she had the sandwich, she needed to eat it, but she didn't want to wolf it down in front of the humans and leave them with a bad impression.
Wagging her tail, she motioned to Shadow to follow her, and she headed into the park and found a nice place under a bush to lay down. Once settled, she finally dug into the sandwich, grateful for the meal.
