Nayeli took to the streets of Suburbia very quickly, the cars were easily dodge-able, and no one tried to purposefully run her over. I wonder where I can find any food, hm. She thought to herself, sniffing down the sidewalk. She looked up and glanced into the youthful faces of two kids, right now, Nayeli did not look like a stray, her coat was relatively clean, and her eyes sparkled. She licked one of their hands and took off, loping down the sidewalk, ignoring their squeals of protest. She ran around to the back of a cul-de-sac and decided to sit in a yard, and maybe someone would feed her, she did not want to result in hunting for herself.

After resting under the shade of a tree, Mira once again started traveling the streets at a quick trot. After a short while, she found that she had wandered into a dead-end cul-de-sac, and almost turned around to go else where until she noticed something. Sitting in one of the yards was a blue heeler. From her distance Mira couldn't tell whether they were male or female, but she noticed that the dog wasn't wearing a collar and wasn't on a chain. Are they a stray, too? the young malamute wondered, and decided to approach the stranger.

Well, Hello there. Nayeli said, looking at the other canine who was approaching, she moved into a sitting postition, just in case anything were to happen she would be ready for it. Im Nayeli, and you are...? she asked the dog, a little wary.

Mira stopped about three feet from the dog and sat. "I'm Mira," she replied, her tail thumping the ground lightly as it wagged in a display of friendliness. "Were you waiting for someone?" Mira asked, having noticed the stranger had been sitting down and not looking tired.

Tikaani raised her slender muzzle and took a deep breath. She watched a large malamute trot down the street as she hid from the sun under a deck. The malamute looked as though she saw something, always curious Tikaani slowly pulled herself from the soft earth below the deck and stretched herself languidly. Shaking the leaves and dirt from her black-sable coat she moved onto the sidewalk and casually followed the Mal down the street. As Tikaani rounded the corner and saw yet another dog, a friendly looking Heeler. "Well well," thought the German Shepherd, "New faces." After hesitating briefly she slowly made her way towards the two strange dogs, her toenails clicking loudly on the pavement.
