Lumina put her paws down, and looked to Vice, she rolled over in submission, for the first time in her life, she had given up. She didn't want to speak, let alone move. She whined, and did nothing more. She wanted to do absolutly nothing. She held her breath, after 30 seconds, she breathed again, she was hoping to kill herself from holding her breath, but she didn't think that was possible.
Luminos thought for the first time ever, she had seen her sister in a submissive position. Something was definetly wrong. She knew it too, she went to her sisters side, layed down, and licked her. She was hoping to comfort her. But she didn't know if she would sucueed. "It will be alright sis" Her sister looked at her, then looked away. She closed her eyes.
Lumina was embarrassed. Her face turned red, and her closing her eyes, only let it show even more. She didn't want Vice to see her like this, but she had no choice, her emotions shone through like the sun after a raining day. She heard the sound of rain, and it calmed her a bit, she bit her lip slightly, and opened her eyes. Soon we will have to leave this place. She said in a small, delicate voice. She sounded like she did when she was a pup, she was the bigger sibling of the two, and she suckled first. Her mother scolded her for fighting her sister, as they had to be kind to one another. She hated being the one scolded for fighting. Even though she understood what her mother was saying.
Luminos understood her sisters words, and she looked to Vice, then to Lumina You like this dog don't you Lumina She managed quietly. Lumina looked to her sister, and Luminos knew she said yes.

this is what you mean to me
Vice was surprised at the current turn of events. This drab, dull day had transformed into something unexpected, and he was amazed that these two dogs were overcoming so much, and felt proud that he was able to help a bit, and yet there were moments when he worried that he may be making things worse. They had a set way of life. Who was he to try and change that? How would a young little dog like him, all alone, know what it takes to be happy? To be honest he didn't have a great track record himself in that department... Seeing Lumina roll over onto her back, taking the submissive posture and holding her breath for a count before releasing it again, he was startled by how very complex others could be. Sometimes it is so easy to just look at everyone else as they appear to you, but each of us have so many hidden layers- hopes, fears, wants, thoughts, and he was getting to realize that no matter who someone seems to be, there is probably a lot more to them than even their closest friends realize.
He knelt down beside the large Rottweiler, head held close to hers, and gently nuzzled her neck. He was not being fresh, nor was he encouraging her to get up. All of us need time to mourn whether it be over a lost loved one, a shattered dream, or even seeing a part of ourselves that we try so hard to hide, yet cannot really destroy.
"None of us are perfect Lumina. You are strong though, I can see that. You do what you can to keep your sister and yourself safe and together as a pack. You don't have to fight everyone Lumina, we're on your side." He stood beside her, next to her sister as well and looked at her, seeing for the first time that perhaps the two sisters were very alike, but each dealt with problems in their own way.

Seeing as Vice knelt by her side, made her wonder, they both had a huge turn of events today, things were not going as she thought, but she did know that Vice somewhat knew what was happening. He knew how she felt, and she liked that. A lot. She was somewhat encouraged by the fact that he said that he was on her side, they were there for her, but she didn't know whether to believe it or not. She had to decide her own fate from here on out.
Luminos nodded to her as Lumina stared at her, she knew that Vice was right, everything Lumina had done to keep them together, only ended in violence and loss. Luminos knew that her sister would eventually give in for a short amount of time, so that she could reflect her true feelings, so that she could replenish herself. Revive her true being, to get her soul back.
Lumina learned many things talking to Vice, he was right, all the time, and she had been wrong. But she could not help but think that Vice knew how she felt, because he also went through something similar to her own life. She had messed up on everything. She promised herself that today was to be a new day, not as much fighting, and not as much violence.
Luminos knew this was really the first time Lumina ever opened up herself to anyone, including her. She knew that, and licked her sisters face, slightly, trying to convince her to stand. Lumina, you are easily stronger than me, I know I want you to be in charge. Nothing can change the way I feel she admitted that she was not fit to be a leader, and that Lumina was.
Lumina knew this and said. Thank you, Luminos, Vice... Today will mark the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning...
And that was what Lumina was going to go by, for the longest time.

Watching the two sisters really look to one another as though they had a new understanding sent cruel shocks through Vice's heart. His own sisters, true kin to him, would never know this sort of peace and forgiveness. With only one of them left, he doubted he would ever be able to forgive himself or to grieve her properly. There were times when he almost believed that he had never killed anyone- it had all been a dream. Maybe they'd really escaped from that cursed hell hole that was his family packland. Or perhaps they'd been murdered by his father. Not quite as tidy an ending but certainly easier on his mind.
Luminos was telling her sister that of course Lumina was the true leader, the one destined to guide her way through this world. Would he ever have someone trust him that much? Perhaps... then again he would likely only betray that trust somehow. He couldn't quite be sure of who he was anymore. It didn't help that he couldn't remember who he'd been.
"Well, I'm glad everything is working out for you guys. Perhaps some day I will come to terms with my own dark shadows."

Seeing as Vice seemed to be lost in his own thoughts, Lumina thought it would be better to do one of two things, one, leave him alone for a while, or two, leave this place and never come back. She didn't know which to choose, as she had grown attached to this home, it seemed like. But she knew times changed, and that this was no longer a place for them to live.
Luminos knew they would be leaving soon, she was sad, but excited to travel the world, thinking that they don't get caught, by anything or anyone. She feared what was ahead, yet she anticpated every breath she took, and she remembered what everyones faces looked like, because one day, she might not be able to see them. Why Luminos thought this was a reason to be thought about, she knew that nothing would happen, but she still thought about all the impossibles, and the possibilities, as one day, one will happen, then the other, until all she had, is gone. She favored the happier parts of life, she let go of the bad, unlike her sister, she was more forgiving.
